GYS is a French company which headquartered in Laval (France), about 280 km west of Paris, between Le Mans and Rennes. The company engineers and manufactures 3 product ranges: Arc Welding Machines: MMA/TIG/MIG/PLASMA, Car Body Shop Equipment: Spot Welding Machines MIG / Plasma Cutters, and battery chargers.

With 350 employees in a 16 500m² factory, GYS turnover reached 46 M €uro in 2008, a growth progression of 12% over 2007. Export steadily grows and accounts today for 45% of the company turnover.
